Travel and LodgingQ: Are our guests able to camp / stay on the property? A: Guests are not permitted to camp or stay on the property. There are camgrounds, hotels and vacation home rentals available nearby. We recommend visiting exploreplumascounty.org to see lodging in the Portola/Graeagle area. __________ Q: How far is Walton's Grizzly Lodge from the nearest airport? A: Our site is an approximate 50 minute drive from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport in Reno, Nevada.

Lodge RulesQ: What hours are included in my rental? A: The site will be open to begin set up at 12:00 pm. Last call at the bar is 10:30 pm, and music ends by 11:00 pm. Guests are to be off property by midnight. __________ Q: Can we have candles or campfires? A: Open flames of any kind are prohibited, including cigarettes. __________ Q: Can we swim in the lake? A: We have a strict no swimming policy. __________ Q: Are pets allowed on property? A: Unfortunately, pets are not permitted on site.

Event SpecificsQ: Is there an on-site wedding planner? A: We do not have an on-site wedding planner, but will provide a list of recommended vendors. Our staff will be on-site during your event to address site related needs or questions. All other event details are the responsibility of the client. __________ Q: Can we see the property before booking? A: Yes! Please call our office to set up a time to tour the venue. __________ Q: What happens if it rains? A: In the event of rain you have the option to move your ceremony and/or reception into the Lodge. We can also work with you if you decide to rent a tent. __________ Q: Is there space for a DJ or band? A: Yes. Our site accomodates a DJ or band. __________ Q: Can we bring our own alcohol? A: Yes, clients provide their own alcohol and licensed bartender. Lakeside Weddings allows a Signature Cocktail Hour followed by beer and wine only. __________ Q: Is there a bride and bridal party preparation area? A: The bridal party is welcome to get ready in one of our on-site cabins.

OtherQ: What things are available to do nearby? A: Plumas County offers numerous hiking and recreational opportunities. In addition there are a number of breweries and dining options nearby. Feel free to let us know what you and your guests are interested in and we can recommend accordingly. __________ Q: Can we host the rehersal dinner on-site the day before? A: The rental fee includes a 1 hour rehearsal the day before your wedding. The site may also be available for a rehearsal dinner for an additional fee.
